Roy Clark has worked diligently over the years to serve the needs of Logan County golfers. His dedication to the sport has resulted in national recognition.

Roy and Donna Clark have owned and operated Liberty Hills Golf Club since 1996. Roy Clark has been selected to receive the Paul Porter Award by the National Golf Course Owners Association.

Clark, who owns Liberty Hills Golf Club along with his wife, Donna, has been selected to receive the Paul Porter Award from the National Golf Course Owners Association. The award recognizes a golf course owner who has established a legacy of commitment, service and leadership.
“It was a surprise,” said Clark of his reaction to receiving the award. “I didn’t expect something like this.”
Clark will be honored during the NGCOA annual conference Feb. 9 in Orlando, Fla.
A longtime member of the association, Clark has served in many capacities. He started as a program chairman in 1980 and also has participated as an Ohio board representative and has served as a junior tour chairman for 20 years.
“The most enjoyable activity has been serving with the junior tour,” said Clark. “I have been able to watch lots of juniors develop their love for the greatest game of all.”
